West Seattle Crime Watch: Flasher in North Admiral

First indecent-exposure case we’ve heard of since January – e-mailed late Saturday night by a reader in North Admiral:

We just filed a police report because my 11-year-old daughter and her 10-year-old friend were bike riding this afternoon at about 4:30 near 44th Ave. SW and Sunset Ave. SW and experienced an incident of lewd conduct. A man who looked to be in his late 20s, dark hair, dark skin tones, was naked in the back seat of a black SUV. He opened the door, exposing himself to the girls. The girls left the scene and were unharmed but we were of course very concerned.

Horrible! Did anyone happen to get a plate number or any other description of the vehicle (make & model)? We will certainly keep our eyes out for a suspicious black SUV.

On April 28th I was walking on Delridge after getting into an argument with my boyfriend at the gas station. My boyfriend tried to get me back into the car and I refused and after that a car drove by and asked if I wanted a ride, I just ignored him and he left….later down the road the same car was parked in a dark spot with no houses and trees…I didnt notice it until i got right next to it and it started and the man opened the side door, i ran across the street and a police officer was parked in the school and i felt safe since my house was only 3 more blocks until after i rounded the bend out of sight of the officer the car was again at the cross street and as i crossed the street to avoid it it drove in front of me, almost hit me, and turned off the engine… I looked the man straight in the face (black male late 20’s)and ran while calling my boyfriend who was just 1 block away…he got me but the suv was already gone to get the plate number …as i was walking into my house the same black suv turned onto brandon street in front of my house!!! Scarey!! I wanted to report because it was close to a school but i couldn’t figure out how!!! be careful ladies!!
