West Seattle Halloween 2013: Costumed visitors at Fire Station 32

The location of the Bright Horizons-West Seattle child-care center right across the street from Seattle Fire Department Station 32 in The Triangle presents some opportunities – including this one: A costume parade.

More photos ahead:

Don’t know if Little Red Riding Hood was anywhere nearby, but the Big Bad Wolf had his own sheep in tow:

Of course there were tiny firefighters too, like the one at left below:

Excellent family photo opportunity:

Also a good chance to learn about their friendly neighborhood firefighters

BHWS says this is the third year they’ve done this, with about two weeks required to get all the logistics arranged!

It’s why kids love Halloween, parents, too, and even grandparents, like me. It’s fun.

Seeing the little ones in costume, especially my own Connor, make my Halloween birthday so special. The “trick-or-treaters” are just adorable and precious! Halloween is for the children and such a joy to us “oldies!”

Kudos to the fireman for participating! I know my twins had a blast and loved climbing around the firetrucks! Way to go guys!
