Tomorrow: Have your donations ready for Scouting For Food!

Reminder that if you got a food-drive door-hanger from local Boy Scouts last Saturday – have your donation outside your door for them to pick up tomorrow morning, as part of Scouting For Food! Multiple local troops/packs are participating. But even if you didn’t get a notice, you can contribute to the drive for the West Seattle Food Bank – tomorrow morning (updated) from 9 till 11 am, bring food donations to Pack 793’s collection spot at 44th SW/Ferry SW (the city-owned triangle of grass just south of Admiral Church – here’s a map).

Is there a collection point there too? All I have is this pack’s collection point, and news of them and another troop collecting from doorsteps …

If you received a doorhanger we will be around to collect the food, if you did not receive a door hanger you can bring your donation to triangle piece of grass noted above…hope to see you there.

Anyone who wanted to participate but somehow was left out, the food bank is always taking donations. If you needs assistance with pickup and delivery to the food bank, contact any of your local scout troops. We’d be glad to help.

Hunger doesn’t end when our food drive does.
