West Seattle Water Taxi back in service for this afternoon

Just announced by the King County Marine Division – after mechanical trouble cut short the Monday night service (as reported here) and canceled this morning’s runs entirely, the West Seattle Water Taxi is back in service for this afternoon/evening, starting with the 3:45 run from downtown.

Perhaps they should start sending out text blasts that announce the occasions when the West Seattle Water Taxi is working?

    Bring back Argossy.

Wouldn’t it be great if every transportation option had 100% up time? Cars, Planes, New boats, Old boats, Trains, Cruise Ships, Bicycles…

Tried to get the Water Taxi this morning and they hadn’t put up ANY signs at Seacrest to notify passengers the ferry wasn’t running – it all looked normal except for a conspicuous lack of waiting commuters and, you know, a missing boat.

This is one of the reasons why we still need the #37 bus!!
