Arbor Heights Community Church sends word of two upcoming neighborhood events: A crime-prevention meeting with Seattle Police is planned for 7 pm Tuesday, August 30th, at the church (4113 SW 102nd). All AH residents are welcome, as is also the case with the annual block party, happening even sooner – official announcement ahead:
It’s time, once again, for the FOURTH ANNUAL NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY at ARBOR HEIGHTS COMMUNITY CHURCH on Saturday, August 20, from Noon to 4:00 p.m. The event is held at ARK PARK right behind the church … For more information, call the church office, 206-935-5714.
There will be something going on for all ages: live music, volleyball, waterslide for the kids (bring your swimsuit and towel), bounce house, preschool pool, face painting, piñata, water balloon toss, basketball hoops, photos and visits with Seattle firefighters and their fire truck, and a GREAT BARBECUE (please bring a side dish or a dessert to share). The barbecue items will be provided this year by WING DOME in the Junction!
