It’s another West Seattle holiday tradition – suggest what the historic Admiral Theater should show as its free Christmas movie! Dinah at The Admiral tells us the movie will be at 7 pm Thursday, December 23rd – admission free but you’re asked to bring food, toys, collars, dog beds to donate to the Humane Society. And now: Time for your suggestion! E-mail [email protected] – winner revealed December 20th.
Since December 23rd is Festivus, how about the Seinfeld “Festivus for the rest of us” episode?

ok, I am not sure who wrote this, but you included the dead web site for the theatre!!! Please, call them and tell them to auto-direct the dead site to the one that works.
Oh sorry, that was reflexive. It’s not dead, the images just aren’t working, but I’ll change to the movie-page link. Will ask Dinah if the home page is getting fixed any time soon … TR
The Nightmare Before Christmas, of course :-)

A Christmas Story. Classic, “modern day” story for every “kid” in us.
I second, third and fourth A Christmas Story!!!! Everyone can relate to that movie in some way. I know they play it all day long on tv on xmas day, but I just can’t get enough!! How cool it would be to watch it on the big screen!!!
How about a compilation of the “old” classics……Rudolph, Santas coming to town, Frosty the snowman…. :)
Elf
Fun for the whole family and unlike A Christmas Story, there probably won’t be some cable channel running it on a loop for four days.
I agree with Elf. My newer fave Christmas movie! Hilarious and sweet!!!
“All I Want for Christmas” (1991) was a cute movie. Also, “A Charlie Brown Christmas” (1965) is a classic. For something a little different, “Gremlins” (1984) could be fun! “ET” (1982) might be cool!
Sorry, comment time is over.
