West Seattle Summer Fest feedback? Here’s another chance

(It’s not a festival without the Rainbow Scarves Guy, photographed last Friday)
In case you missed (or passed up) the chance to drop by the central West Seattle Summer Fest tent where we were hanging out with the West Seattle Junction Association, West Seattle Chamber of Commerce and Friends of Junction Plaza Park, but still wanted to take the quick survey to offer your thoughts – here’s your chance. Click here to take the survey. Meantime, we hear the beer-garden and donation-box proceeds for the park totaled more than $3,500. And the park is a beneficiary of proceeds from this Sunday’s West Seattle Garden Tour (go to westseattlegardentour.com to see where/how to get tickets).

Who is this man?! I’ve seen him the past few years – very entertaining and loves the music.

Anyone know anything about him? Is he at other street fairs?

Don’t know who he is but I saw him last year also dancing in front of the stages. He is just a free spirit that seems to love community festivals and children.

Our friends at Capitol Hill Seattle told us more about him via Twitter when they saw our link. He calls himself “The Boe Odissey” – even has a card:

Police at Summer Fest had told us “that guy even has cards” – we didn’t believe it till the CHS link.

CHS publisher Justin says Boe often shows up at community meetings on The Hill – TR

Given the fact that he is usually wearing nothing but tiny onion-skin shorts (saw him at Folklife recently, as well), I don’t think I want to know where he *keeps* the cards.

He is really nice! I don’t know him by name but he has been a Capital Hill Icon since I went to school there in in 1993. Ever lost, he give great directions!

Sorry, comment time is over.
