West Seattle signs — special after-dark edition

Didn’t want to wait till daylight for a photo, once Matthew e-mailed us to point out the subtle alteration that’s been made on the sign at what’s been dubbed Hole-In-The-Ground Foods. (Added Thursday afternoon: The daylight view)

On the way back to WSB HQ from there, we did a double-take (and a pull-over) once we saw the sign at right: The first “Shop Cat” profile is being plugged on the West Seattle Nursery sign! If you missed the story of Seth, who holds court at WSN (by the way, you can meet him during the nursery’s annual Spring Open House on April 11, see it here. And watch for the next West Seattle “Shop Cat” profile either tomorrow or Friday.

    The WF sign is AWESOME!

Two chuckles out of one post. I think both of the signs are awesome, and they balance each other: one is snarky, one is sweet.

I’m so disappointed with that project. The last thing we need in that neighborhood, my neighborhood, is more empty lots or unfinished projects. :( However, I’m optimistic that it will be finished someday, and something will be done with the Huling Bros lots.

First off…yes that is really funny! I was wondering when someone was going to do that.

Second, I’m with you Lindsey! I wish they would just get it sorted out. Can’t imagine that having a project in limbo is good for anyone.

I have to give props to my cousin for this. This makes me laugh every time I see it.

Sorry, comment time is over.
