As mentioned earlier this week, Herban Feast is grilling wild-salmon burgers at the West Seattle Farmers’ Market today (10 am-2 pm, SE corner of 44th/Alaska) for Father’s Day — here’s what else you will find:

What’s New this Week:

APRIUMS: A cross between an apricot and a plum.

BROCCOLI: From Willie Green’s Organic Farm.

CHERRIES: First of season – Chelans, Early Rainiers and Tietons. At all markets.

GREENS: Lamb’s Quarter

LETTUCE: Winter Density and Sierra varieties.

PEAS: Sugar Snap and English varieties.

STRAWBERRIES: First of season- Winona and Seascape varieties out of Eastern Washington . Expect LOCAL berries to come into all markets at the end of this week.
