Lots happening today/tonight

10 events listed/linked here, for today/tonight alone – from school tours, to the School Board on Denny/Sealth, to the West Seattle Chamber of Commerce‘s annual meeting, to the Nucor public hearing. Oh, and a premiere too!

Does anyone know if the West Seattle Chamber of Commerce is affiliated or pays dues to the sneaky rightwing funding U.S. Chamber of Commerce?

Ken — I’m going to send your question to Ms. Patti Mullen, the current WSCC Executive Director for an answer……

Ken, I can report that the West Seattle Chamber of Commerce does not belong to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. If you have a position / concern that you would like to discuss, please feel free to contact me directly at the Chamber office, 932-5685. Patti Mullen, Executive Director, WS Chamber of Commerce

Thanks Patti, I am pretty sure the overarching problems of the national group had triggered a revolt in many NW cities if I remember correctly, but with the election season coming up, it might be a good idea to do a little preemptive PR disassociating WSCC from the USCC and their stealth attacks on both judicial elections and anyone advocating a sane tax policy.

Sorry, comment time is over.
