Cycle University expands to West Seattle, brings outdoor training indoors!

Cycle University is pleased to announce the West Seattle expansion of its popular ‘InCycle’ program. ‘InCycle’ is a comprehensive cycling program that develops and builds cycling performance with Heart Rate or Power. Each athlete-participant will maximize their performance by following a detailed training plan of Strength, Endurance, Power, and Speed. Cycle University coaches monitor and track each participant’s performance to ensure individual fitness goals and results. This program is designed for all levels: the avid cyclist, fitness-enthusiast, triathletes, soon-to-be bike racer, or existing bike racer. “The goal of the ‘InCycle’ indoor cycling program is to have the participant ‘road-ready’ in five months without riding outdoors!” says, Craig Undem, Cycle University Dean.
“Most cyclists use the rainy Seattle winter to build base fitness for the approaching cycling season. We’ve taken that concept and brought it indoors.”

“I’m looking forward to this winter’s West Seattle ‘InCycle’ program!” says Phil Sanford, returning ‘InCycle’ participant. “5 hours of focused training per week helped prepare me for two weeks in the French Alps. British Airways lost my bike and I still rocked the ride! It was simple, effective, and fit my busy schedule.”

Cycle U-West Seattle will be located in the heart of the Alaska Junction, at 4502 California Avenue SW, next to the West Seattle Senior Center. “It’s the perfect space for us,” says Ed Ewing, Cycle University Coach and Marketing Director. “The Senior Center has been the perfect partner in creating this centrally located space to serve the needs of the South Seattle community.” Cycle U will also continue its flagship program in North Seattle at Magnuson Park.

‘InCycle’ will begin this November 3rd in two Seattle-area locations, and run through March 2008. Cost is $575* for this 5-month long fully-coached program. Class offerings are as follows:
