From fluff ‘n’ fold, to Fluffy’s food?

The city permit files say a pet-food store is in the works for Westwood Village. We can’t find a center blueprint to match WV “suite numbers” to specific stores, so we can’t tell if that’s what’s going into the laundromat space (below) that just emptied out north of QFC, but crews are certainly working fast and furious to convert it into something. Also, the permit files mention progress on the WV in-the-works Taco Del Mar.

My husband tells me that when he was in that laundromat a few weeks ago and one of the people who worked there said that it was closing down to make way for a pet store. So I guess that’s it after all.

I hadn’t noticed, on my daily bus rides to work on the 22, that the Laundromat had closed.

Sad, it was a pretty decent one. I would go there a couple times a year to launder stuff that’s too big for the machines in my apt bldg.

I can’t imagine it wasn’t doing a decent business. There’s several in White Center, the one on 35th by the U-Haul, then the little one in the Junction, that are nearest to me in the Morgan Junction.

I don’t have a car, so need one convenient by bus. The one at Westwood was perfect. The one in the Junction can get all machines in use pretty quickly considering it’s limited size.
