No juice

More than 14 hours after Wind Wallop ’06, the West Seattle Blog World HQ is still out of power. Sneaking a moment of internet cafe access now, looking for another way to post some real updates shortly. We promise, we’ll get broadband wireless before the next one!

Sorry to hear about your power loss. We were SOOO lucky. We are on 46th not too far from the Junction and we only flickered once last night and have had power since! I can’t believe it. Roof shingles, trees etc have come down in our little hood, but the power remains. My heart goes out to those without right now. The cold has arrived and hope everyone has a way to keep warm!!!

Thanks for your blog! It’s very appreciated and the first place I went when the storm hit!

Here by the Home Depot we were lucky to be back up and running around 11am. But then our traffic lights out on Delridge are still dark. Good luck, all!

Tree’s down, a raging Longfellow Creek and patio umbrella’s doing their own version of the Wicked-Witch-Of-The-East-Flyin’-Through-The-Air routine, but alas, with the exception of a few brief hiccups, the power stayed on here in the 4800 block of 23rd Ave SW. For that we are thankful:)

power stayed on here at california and hanford. but….WARNING….if you plan on heading up California Ave towards the Admiral district, traffic is a mess…bumper to bumper and often at a standstill…

Sorry, comment time is over.
