O’Neill Plumbing: Welcome, new West Seattle Blog sponsor

Today we welcome one of West Seattle’s longest-running businesses, O’Neill Plumbing, as a new WSB sponsor. Here’s what proprietor Tim O’Neill (pictured) would like you to know:

O’Neill Plumbing was founded here in West Seattle in 1917, adjacent to Husky Deli in The Junction.

95 years later, 4th-generation owner Tim O’Neill has 28 years of experience and employs 25 hard-working, talented people and a fleet of trucks to serve not only West Seattle but also the Greater Seattle area as well as the Eastside. O’Neill Plumbing serves residential and commercial properties, including “Emergency 24-Hour Service,” drain/rooter cleaning, water-heater repairs and replacement, whole-house re-pipes, and state-of-the-art “Trenchless” underground pipe repairs and replacement.

We are proud to be longtime members of the West Seattle Chamber of Commerce, Master Builders Association, Better Business Bureau, and are “Top Of Class” on Angie’s List with more than 450 positive customer referrals.

Have used O’Neill many times over the last ten years…their employees are always professional and courteous. I call them with the confidence that I won’t be ripped off or taken to the cleaners!

We would never use anyone else!!!

I agree with Steve – have used them a few times and super efficient, reliable and personable. And, they stand behind their installations, appliances, and work. They also have a nice show-room-like location on California Ave. A good neighbor.

I had a different experience with O’Neill. They “fixed” a leaky sink. A couple weeks later it was leaking again. They refused to fix it or to refund our money and I will never use them again.

I’ve been using them for over 10 years. I love them.

The comments above are good to know. Thanks. A great fear of a homeowner is being ripped off, since when one needs a plumber, it is usually a dire situation.

And incidently, they have been in business since the year my Mom was born. She is still going strong, also. She is watching the Mariners right now, as I write this. She says they will probably win since King Felix is pitching. Last I checked, the Ms are up 4 to nothing…

    Yay, more WSB sponsors!

Just had to tell all to definitely go with O’Neill. I have many times and always tell others to switch to them. I was ripped off and lied to by the most ‘visible’ one in WSea, you know the one on every phone book & waving from their trucks. So were my parents. O’Neill feels like they are your friends and out for YOUR best interest, not their’s. I’ve had three different plumbers show up over the years and all are great guys (Hi to Nelson!!) whenever a business has the same employees over the years, that is also a good sign.

This company is the best! All of the plumbers are true trades people who know what they are doing and take pride in their work. They are long term employees which says a lot about the company. They have done many projects for me from a side sewer replacement to kitchen to laundry to bathroom…a 1923 Craftsman has lots of issues and they understood them all. They do what is best for the client and the structure. I have always appreciated their advice and professionalism.

Another recommendation for O’Neill. My husband and I just moved into our first house, and had a few plumbing headaches to deal with. The employees at O’Neill were fast, professional and kind. The work was also affordable, a plus for new homeowners. It also felt good to use a local business!

i’ve never patronized o’neill, simply because i’ve never had a reason to.
    .
but i want to offer o’neill’s owners and staff a hearty and heartfelt welcome to the “real economy.”
    .
cheers! and thank you for sponsoring west seattle’s blog.

Sorry, comment time is over.
