West Seattle Art Walk: April sunbreak edition

April 15, 2011 at 1:30 am | In West Seattle Art Walk, West Seattle news | 3 Comments

As a slightly soggy day (indoors and outdoors) gave way to sunbreaks, the Easy Street Café was ready for its closeup as a West Seattle Art Walk venue Thursday night, and will be open again for breakfast/lunch/etc. as usual today. Lisa Stewart is in our Art Walk photo with a table full of work. P.S. Remember to check ‘em out this Saturday on Record Store Day! Saturday also is Tax-Free Day – big sales with participants (see the list!) paying your tax – in The Junction, and Click! Design That Fits (WSB sponsor) is on the list; they hosted artist Junko Yamamoto for Art Walk:

A bit to the west, but still in The Junction, we stopped in at Seattle Real Estate Associates (WSB sponsor) to see Igor Kashinskiy and his work:

And at The Kenney: Art included this work by Fauntleroy Children’s Center students, in honor of Earth Day – note the “reduce/reuse/recycle” inscription:

Remember that most venues keep the art up all month long, so even if you missed Art Walk night, you can have your own Art Walk just about any other day (the official site has venue/artist info)!
