FOUND BABY DUCK: Pet or wild? – June 23, 2017 8:01 pm

Our cat brought in a very young baby duck Thursday. He/she is completely unharmed. Our cat was only outside for a few minutes so the nest and mom must be close to our house. We live up above Alki in the Bonair neighborhood. We’re hoping someone has pet ducks with babies in the neighborhood so we can reunite this little one with his family. My name is Karen, and my phone number is 206 240 8818.

If it is no one’s pet, you might call PAWS wild animal shelter in Lynnwood, Wa.  They will know what to do because if it’s wild, it will be hard to reunite at this point.  They were great – we once rescued an injured seagull and they took it in and rehabilitated it.
