WhirlyBuds Dance Company is a creative movement company that caters to the energetic and whimsical preschool crowd. The ideal candidate will have a background in both dance (not required if you have a fun, silly, creative nature ) and child care. He/She will be a fun, creative, warm, energetic, and encouraging dance instructor.

We are looking for a part time dance instructor for toddler and preschooler movement classes throughout Seattle. Classes are taught on-site at preschools and child care facilities, so applicants must be willing to travel. This position involves teaching a majority of classes in the West Seattle and Burien neighbourhoods, with additional classes in Sodo and Greenwood.
Our immediate need is Wednesday and Thursday mornings.

While most WhirlyBuds classes occur in the morning (9am-12pm), some classes are taught in the afternoon and as after school programs (anywhere in the 1:30-4:30pm timeframe). Ideally our new team member would be available to teach morning classes 3 days a week and afternoon classes at least 1 day a week, and be able to commit to at least a year with the company. This is a position that needs to be filled immediately.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $18.00 for training to $25.00 /hour once trained and teaching solo.
