shed22ParticipantI can’t be the only one. I love WSB and spend much of my internet time checking out the reports and forum postings. I have experienced multiple and regular delays with page load on both my home computer and at work. I use Chrome and I.E.
If others are having the same experience, please let WSB know so that they are aware.
WSB is my first and foremost provider of local news!!

KevinParticipantThere do seem to be noticeable delays, which surprises me since I have a very fast Comcast connection. I use Comcast / Firefox 4.
.
And ditto on you local news comment. I have long since given up on TV news. WSB and the Seattle Times are my news providers.

GinaParticipantI use QWEST, and it takes forever to bring up WSB, and close it out. Not having a problem with other sites.

cjboffoliParticipantI’m on Comcast (cable modem) in the Junction, accessing the site through Safari for OS X and the site is loading immediately.

KevinParticipantSo you are suggesting it is a PC issue cjb? :)

S5MemberI’m also on Comcast and use Safari and have had no issues.

cjboffoliParticipantKevin: LOL. Well maybe that’s reason 3,001 to get a Mac…. they load the WSB faster ;-)

WSBKeymasterCan somebody kindly let us know when you are having trouble? I just happened to get a breather and come over here and suddenly I notice this. PLEASE e-mail us – this is NOT a way to quickly get our attention; forum posts do not go through us first. editor@westseattleblog.com – NO ONE has e-mailed, called, texted, Facebooked, or Tweeted us about trouble. We had a big traffic day today, but not something so massive that it should have hung anyone up (we are coming off a record month, 961K pageviews, and on the same pace for July so far, thanks for your support).
Anyway, usually if you’re having trouble, I’m having trouble. I haven’t had trouble in a few months. If anyone is still having trouble, please e-mail me directly with what OS/browser you are on and what specifically you are doing. We have five different ISPs (including both Comcast and Qwest wired into HQ) and access to both Mac and PC in the house so if there’s a real problem we should be able to replicate it somewhere. Thanks. – Tracy

redblackParticipanthmm. got an “unresponsive script” warning this morning. i’m thinking it’s a third-party/redirect delay.
