Can anyone help? I really want to understand something: How do you cut taxes and pay for war? Does it all come out of the nat’l debt? Are Republicans all in on the “starve the beast” strategy, therefore war is necessary to bankrupt the feds?

How does the average person on the street reconcile the promise to cut taxes with the culture of imperialism (or defense, if you will)?

I have asked around my friends and acquaintances, and can’t get a satisfactory answer. The articles on the web I’ve seen are full of arcane formulas that go over my head.

Its just a question of where you want your money spent and by whom,.

The Democrats tax and give your money to welfare moms, illigal immigrants and want to save the world.

Republicans, cut taxes to the rich and upper middle class, while bankrupting the country by spending money on war, defense contracts, and no bid contracts to rebuild countries we have destroyed.

Hmmm….. seems to me we need a new way of doing things.

war doesn’t come out of the national debt..

the nation is going into debt for it

the cost of the war isn’t included in our budgets which i think already put us in debt.
