It’s the High School Open House season for Seattle’s middle schoolers moving on to high school. The Center School will hold it’s first Open House of 2010 on January 19, 2010, 6:30-8:30 pm at The Center School. This is a great opportunity for middle school parents and students to check out what TCS is all about. Principal Lisa Escobar will be there, as will Liz, our chairperson heading our Middle School Outreach effort. Curious what Center is all about? You can get a glimpse on our TCS information sheet, both in pdf and here on the site.

As an All City Draw (Option) high school The Center School is open to enrollment from all corners of the city including W.Sea. Currently about 17% of the school’s population comes from WS. Anyone looking for an alternate to a large “comprehensive” high school in Seattle should come by the school Monday night and see what it’s all about.

    Center School Open House

    When

    Mon, February 1, 6:30pm – 8:30pm

    Where

Center School, Center House at Seattle Center

    Description

Monday February 1st from 6:30-8:30 pm, Principal Lisa Escobar will present the unique program The Center School offers its students. Teachers and students will be on hand to show families the school and answer their questions. Since 2001, The Center School’s rigorous, college-prep, curriculum has extended learning beyond the classroom walls by creating partnerships with local arts organizations and involving ourselves in the city. A focus on social justice issues provides opportunities for students to have an impact on the world outside the schoolhouse. We are located on the Seattle Center campus, in the Center House, above the food court.
