RobindianneParticipantAnyone have one? Last year we ordered the Whole Foods turkey dinner. Not sure I want to cook, but want turkey. Anyone doing anything or know of anything they can recommend?

JanSParticipantThere was a thread about this before, can’t find the link. There is a community meal at the Hall at Fauntleroy made by Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes Catering, which is housed there. I believe it’s from 12pm-3pm, maybe a bit later. It’s FREE…they do this every year to thank the community for supporting them..and it’s a yummy meal.
If you want to spend lots of money on what looks like an incredible feast there is a dinner at Kaspar’s (used to be a restaurant, now a catering place, and special dinners) The cost is 42 bucks per person, but the menu is amazing.

or…invite yourself to a friend’s house ;-)

missaudreyhorneParticipantJanS and I went to the Fisherman’s Restaurant Thanksgiving feast a few years back and it was delicious. WAY too much food.
But actually, I used to work at Tuxedo’s and Tennis Shoes Catering a few years ago and I have to say the two times I went may have been the best Thanksgiving food I have ever had.

JanSParticipantIf you like leftovers, the Fisherman’s Restaurant is a good place to go for T-Day. They literally bring a whole turkey to your table, carve it, and then send the rest home with you in a big bag.
I like Miss A’s avatar…I get to see my grand-furbabies every time she posts – lol….

RobindianneParticipantThanks for these great ideas! I’ll look at each of them. Nice to have options!
and, Yay for grand-furbabies!

AimParticipantHA! My parents also became resigned to the fact that all they’re getting is grand-cats.
