West Seattle Nursery receives dozens of calls every day from people who want to know if we have certain plants in stock or who have questions about gardening. We need someone who can answer these calls.
Hours: at least 3 days a week, up to full time.
Skills required:
– Good plant ID knowledge – this would be a great job for someone who has taken horticulture classes at South Seattle College.
– Experience – you’ll need to field questions about pests, diseases, fertilizers, gardening techniques and more. If you are a Master Gardener or have hands-on experience with garden maintenance and/or design, we’d love to talk to you.
– A pleasant telephone voice
– Patience
