I went to the Solstice Park tennis courts yesterday and was astounded with what I saw. Nearly every vertical surface was covered with graffiti, the trash can was overflowing, there was trash all over the place, the courts were filthy, weeds on the courts were over 12inches tall, and the courts had massive cracks. This is not what one would expect in one of the wealthiest cities in America with an enormous property tax base. The more these courts are neglected by the Parks Department, the worse they are abused. I have been writing the city regarding the condition of these courts for years.

Are you pleased with the maintenance of these courts? If not, please contact:

So sad to see those nice tennis courts being vandalized by skateboarders and those cutting down the nets.
Do they do that to those baseball/football fields at the SW athletics fields?

What do those highly paid park employees paid by our high property taxes do all day in their cozy secluded shelter at Lincoln Park? They drive the nice brand new trucks all day long.
