LesParticipantI need care for my dog while I’m at a convention the weekend of November 1st, ThursdayAM till Sunday evening. He is a year and a half, 20 pounds, and doesn’t shed. He’s been through a series of classes at Ahimsa Dog training (positive training!)and is smart and sweet-natured. He will start training soon as a therapy dog and already goes to work with me. He is, however, still a puppy and can get into mischief so needs close supervision.
I have looked at a number of West Seattle boarding facilities and they all have a lot of dogs of all sizes crammed into a small space. I’m uncomfortable with this as even nice dogs can hurt smaller dogs who weigh fifteen pounds less than they do while playing or wrestling. My pup got hurt once while playing with a bigger dog whose wrestling got a little rough and I’m not willing to risk it. I’d love to find someone who could take him Thursday AM till Sunday night in their home who is super trustworthy and dog-knowledgeable. Recommendations are deeply appreciated! Thanks! You can reply here or email lespup@gmail.com.

wendyhjParticipantThere is a woman I know who does this for others, she doesn’t have any other pets so is good (not all dogs do well with cats). I will send her your information. She lives here in West Seattle also and is retired and can devote a lot of time to your pet.
