I am having hip replacement surgery on Thursday the 16th. I need a shower chair and my insurance won’t pay for it. So, if anyone has a shower chair that will fit in my shower that is28″ by 32″, that would be most appreciated.
Peacevine – look into this resource: http://www.gamlib.org/ Go Anywhere Medical Library has items that you can borrow or have long term at no or low cost. They may have a shower chair in stock and will deliver.
You might also check with the nursing homes. Sometimes when residents check out the family has no need for the items left behind and they have the items in storage. Or else check with Holy Rosary or Our Lady of Guadalupe as they have sick room supplies.
