Can anyone point me to local free standard wood pallets in usable condition, please? The businesses I’ve asked all return theirs, so don’t have any available. I’ve checked Craigslist and Freecycle, and there are some, but not in WS. I thought I’d see if anyone could point me to a close-by source, first.
Julie, there is a place on 13th Ave SW, near the Steve Cox memorial park (White Center) that constantly has pallets out back with a “free wood” sign. I don’t remember what the business is but I’ll check it out next time I drive by.

We drove by, and actually found a pile just around the corner on 12th, labeled “Free Wood”, between La Mexicana, (which had pallets, but they clearly were still using them), and a construction company whose name didn’t stick in my head. We found two usable ones in the pile. So your tip was helpful! Thank you!
