odaveyMemberHave an appointment downtown, wondering if I should go. Don’t have to leave here until 1 this afternoon. Don’t have 4wd or anything. Think it will be safe by 1pm?

odaveyMemberIt didn’t! Thanks for asking. :-) My passenger called and told me NOT to try it. HV employees were calling in to say they couldn’t make it so she agreed to stay till almost midnight. Luckily buses were out with their chains and got her home safely.

JoBParticipantyou might try re-scheduling your appointment.
if not, if you don’t feel comfortable driving to the junction where buses will be running.. you probably shouldn’t be driving downtown.

odaveyMemberThanks JoB. I think you’re probably right, I’ll let them know. Might as well go back to bed!

JoBParticipantHubby just came in and told me he wasn’t sure if he could even walk the dogs around the block.

JiggersMemberYou’re crazy to venture out for a dumb appointment. The person you are supposed to meet probably never showed up himself.

JanSParticipantcrazy for venturing out, huh….I don’t get a choice – have dialysis yet again this evening. Again, hoping Access van is doing it’s thing…

KimberleyParticipantThe Access van was out last night Jan, so hopefully. If you do need a ride, feel free to get my email address from Tracy, I live not terribly far from you.

JanSParticipantKimberly..thanks.appreciate it. I’m compiling a list of whoever might want to be emergency transportation “friends”. Luckily it’s not far from me to dialysis.
