captainDaveParticipantSee the Duamish River and West Seattle by water! I currently have one of our classic charter boats moored on the Duamish and it is available for your pleasure. I can take up to six people on a tour of the river and out into Elliot Bay. The classic wood boat is a 30′ historic motor launch built in 1928 here in Seattle. Complete with a cozy wood stove, roomy cabin and cover outdoor seating. You are welcome to bring your own picnic foods & drinks too – or I can provide catered gourmet meals for additional cost.
You can see more on our web site a http://www.cedarwave.com or give me a call at 206-355-0133
Limited offer.

KevinParticipantJoB,
I just discussed this with my wife and she said she would like to go. So… add two more to the guest list. Let’s go cruising!
Shall we do a cruise for 4 folks at $25 each? Or see if we can find two more folks that are interested.
You can find my email in my profile.

JoBParticipantkevin..

shall i let you know if that changes?

celeste17ParticipantI would like to go but I am a single. Kevin if you could find one more for a party of four I can afford 25.00.

KevinParticipantJoB, since you have already filled all of your slots on the boat, it sounds like the best plan is for me to recruit some folks and we will be on another trip.
.
I have worked in the charter boat industry in years past, and a $100 charter for six folks is a FANTASTIC deal!
.
I gave Captain Dave a call and he is planning on running the Duwamish river trips through the end of March. The boat is enclosed and features a wood stove in the cabin to keep things nice and warm.
.
The reason the trips are limited to six people is that the Coast Guard issues what is called a “six pack” license to small boat operators which allows them to take up to six passengers on any given boat charter. This is quite common in the industry.
.
A $100 charter to cruise the Duwamish works out to only $16.67 per person if we can find six folks who would like to go on a short cruise. Round that out to about $20 per person to account for a small gratuity for the captain. Still a fantastic deal!
.
JoB’s cruise has already been filled. My wife and I are interested, and Celeste has expressed interest, and we have a neighbor who is a maybe at the moment.
.
Are there two or three more folks out there that would be interested in joining our group for a cruise?
.
In talking to Captain Dave, it sounded like next weekend (3/13-14) is still open at the moment. Perhaps 2 or 3 PM?

JanSParticipantI went with Capt. Dave on one of these this afternoon. What a wonderful time out on the water…lots of birds, a 787 landing, seals, sunshine…it was terrific. If you have a chance, please round up some friends and do this – you won’t be sorry at all…loved it !!!
