My Subaru stationwagon has a flat. Could anyone recommend an honest, inexpensive dealer in West Seattle? I need to purchase a tire & have it installed.

    Thanks!

Mom2Soren – I’ve used Courtesy Tire for all my tire needs; they’ve been really helpful with flats, snowtires, and chains. Phone: 206-932-5044, right in the Junction at: 4820 California Ave SW.

    Good Luck!

I just went to Discount Tires in Burien and they did 4 specialty tires for me and had them in stock.

Courtesy Tire has been really good when I needed something diagnosed or a flat fixed in a hurry.

WSB should also try to sell an AD there since their location means that WS is pretty much their target audience.

    Patrick,

    I have a suggestion… do you?

Depending on how worn the other tires are, you may want to get all new tires. Especially since you have AWD with a Subaru. Running tires at different tread rates and tread patterns will actually make driving conditions worse and AWD/4×4’s need to have tires that are equally worn with the same tread patterns.

Tires are the #1 most important thing on your car.

I’d suggest going to Costco. Costco carries quality tires and they have better equipment to install them than almost all the rest of the tire replacement locations locally. Costco also fills them with Nitrogen which does better than just filling them with standard air at the pump. Nitrogen not only keeps pressure consistent better in varying weather, your tires will hold that pressure longer with Nitrogen.
