Rave for Computer Repair Guru (and rant for Quid’nunc)

I had been a regular customer over at Quid’nunc Computer repair down at the Junction until I had the worst customer service experience in recent memory, not to mention the fact that they never fixed the problem and took over two weeks to fix when they originally told me two DAYS. When I called to inquire about the whereabouts of my computer, the person actually hung up on me!

Anyway, I still had the awful computer virus on my machine after my experience at Quid’nunc and I really wanted my laptop to work properly! A friend of mine mentioned Julius Sommer (ujsommer@gmail.com) here in West Seattle as someone to look into. I emailed him, we arranged a time, he quickly diagnosed the problem, he FIXED the problem, and went into great detail with me as to what had happened and how I could prevent this from happening in the future. An overall GREAT experience — and, now almost a week out, he actually emailed me to follow-up and make certain everything was still working OK. Great, great experience and I will continue to take my computer to him to repair!

Did you mean to say that his e-mail address was spelled somewhat inverted from his name? Just wondering. Maybe his first name is “Ulysses”.

I have had similar Quid experience as a Mac user–as if they weren’t computers (granted 6 years ago, but enough to prevent me from using them twice).
