I’ve just returned from a meeting with the manager at Bamboo, and am happy to report that she was very apologetic and accomidating. She let the waitress who took my glasses go, and although that’s not something I was pushing for, I understand how necessary it is to have honest employees. She gave me ample restaurant credit to bring my entire family back for dinner. And she conveyed a geniune concern for my satisfaction. I really appreciate this manager’s warm approach to the situation and I thank her for putting herself in my shoes when making her decision.

We were treated tonight to a delicious dinner- Pesto Shrimp Fettucini, Crab Stuffed Prawns, and Calamari. I recommend all three!

Thanks to everyone who gave me their input. And let me know if anyone is interested in buying some scratched up Kate Spade aviators! :) Thanks WSB

Hmm. Nice to see that there are still some good businesspeople in this world. I can’t say I’ve ever thought of dining down there. But the outcome of this situation is an incentive to try it now (of course with my sunglasses on a leash). :-)

Hopefully that waitress learned her lesson over a pair of sunglasses and doesn’t have any family (children, siblings, parents, etc.) to support/feed as that’s one harsh lesson to learn for what she probably made in tips on a busy night.

Now she gets to learn the hard way that it’s not easy finding a job these days…believe me I know.

Glad you got the restitution you deserved breanna43…it sounded tasty.
