This is a silly question, but I thought someone may just know where to get 14″ throw pillows for cheap?

How cheap is cheap? Marshall’s always has a pretty big selection… or try IKEA?

I haven’t been there in a while, but Ross usually has good prices on stuff like that.

Oh, cheaper than it would be to make them myself, i.e. less than $10 each. Thanks for those tips! I need about 15 to replace on five small couches (part of a bigger job), and they are hard to find even online. I’ve never been to Marshall’s or Ross, so thanks! wouldn’t have thought of them and I will check them out today!

If you already have covers and just want the innerds, you could try Pacific Fabrics on 4th in SODO. It’s been several years since I bought pillows there, but I recall it being reasonably priced.

I second Marshall’s! Also try TJ Maxx and maybe even Big Lots.

When I saw the title of this post I thought, “Finally! Someone else is as confused as I am!” You see, I thought the post would be about why people would put 5 layers of throw pillows on their bed or couch. I saw an ad online the other day for a 20pc. bedroom set. I swear, 12 of the items were pillows! Ah well, I guess I will continue to sit in confusion on my couch with only 2 throw pillows to soften my aching back…

Thank you! You folks are the BEST!!! String cheese, ha ha ha…. I hear you! Last time I was at a hotel I seem to recall a dozen pillows on the bed, and there’s no good place to put them. I don’t get it either.

Also, if you just need the pillows, already have cases, you can try the Burien Goodwill! They usually have a bunch in great condition and they range from .99 – 4.99. Toss the covers and you’re good! I have bought a couple that I threw in the washer and dryer and they look great!

    Ikea!!!

They really have some beautiful fabrics.

another vote for ikea; they are cheap and the covers are usually removable (nice zipper) and washable.

on the other hand we have another one that was not cheap, is covered with a felt-like material and it is not washable… :(
