JoanMemberOh maaaaan, these are GOOD! I don’t usually pick up anything at the coffee joints but coffee, but this morning the light shone in Cafe Rozella just right. A jar of cookies studded with rubies that were, like, spelling out my name and blinking!
Well, okay, the rubies turned out to be cranberries, but oh oh oh, cranberry cookies with orange zest and oatmeal, perfect texture toasted perfectly… oh… they are gone now but I’ll be moaning about those two little biscuits of love the rest of the day. :d
THANKS Rozella!

addParticipantI often make the oatmeal raisin recipe on the box of Quaker Oats and substitute with cranberries … man are they GOOD. And healthy, too. :)

JoanMemberadd, I’m thinking this cookie is similar, but more sparkly rubies and perfect cookie, less oats and sugar. Yeah!
Did I say nom? NOM!!
Better get some now, ’cause I will clean out that treasure jar the next time I see it. ;d

AlkiRagdollParticipantIt cant be… there is no chocolate in them… sorry, but the only favorite cookie is a fresh out of the oven Chocolate Chip (no nuts)… from just about anyone’s recipe.. Second best are those cranberry oatmeals at PCC. There is nothing better on this planet than a Chocolate Chip Cookie and a Diet Coke!
Full Tilt — heaven would be ice cream that tastes like chocolate chip cookies — the cookie dough ice cream doesnt count.

JoBParticipanttemptation is a terrible thing:(((((
well.. it’s a good thing when you indulge… moderately..
is there any way to eat a cookie moderately????
i think my waistband expands just reading this:( i may as well go have a cookie…
but then i’d have to get dressed and leave the house and it’s cold and windy out there… sigh :(((
once again mother nature saves the day :~>

JoanMemberdood, these are not the PCC cookies which are larger, drier, and kind of chalky by comparison.
Iirc, these are a custom order to Rozellas from somewhere local. Mmmmm, moist yet perfectly toasted… NEEEEEED COOOKIE NAAAOOOO! :d
