Part-Time Religious Exploration (RE) Program Assistant

Part-Time Religious Exploration (RE) Program Assistant Sought for the Westside Unitarian Universalist Congregation: 6 hours a week working on Sundays (from around 9 am – 3 pm) for $15/hour. RE Program Assistant will aid the Director of Religious Exploration for Children and Youth. Position begins at the end of August/beginning of September. Assistant will help coordinate and assist with RE classes on Sunday, input registration after classes, communicate with teachers, prepare supplies, and teach class sporadically (when a teacher is absent). Applicant needs to be organized, have their own laptop, know how to use Google Docs and gmail, have a phone with texting capability, love kids, and be interested in children’s education and spiritual education. Program Assistant may be called upon at times to substitute teach a class on Sundays. The position will run through June 2017 with the possibility of continuing. Position could be job shared between two people to alternate Sundays if two people came forward who wanted to work in this way.
