Just got another take-out order form Pailin and it was very “eh”. Anyone else have similar experiences lately with them for take-out or was this just a one-off?

Lack of volume, odd flavors, not much tofu, etc. Just strange because I’ve never had a bad meal AT their restaurant and so far not for take-out either….

My husband ordered from there a couple weeks ago and said that it wasn’t very good as well. Sad.

Rats, I was hoping it was just a fluke….had the same thing happen over time at at Buddha Rukhsa (sp?)

Pailin still has the best Pad Thai in West Seattle.

But there are other dishes I only get at Buddha Ruksa. So aren’t we lucky that we have choices.

Vanessa, have you tried the Pad Thai at Lee’s?

Hi Homer. Sorry to hear your take out was unimpressive. Our take out from there has been good generally, though I do recall one time having a similar reaction of “meh”. May have just been an off night for them.

We had lunch at Pailin on Monday and it was very solid. Lunch special – pad thai with green curry, very good. Pad see iew with steamed tofu, very good as well. We all loved the rice soup and the chicken satays to were good, though not great. But it’s a satay.

It’s still a thumbs up for us.
