trickycooljParticipantI’m moving over to West Seattle in April and currently use Target Pharmacy at Northgate. It’s been a convenient one-stop and is open until 9pm on weeknights and has weekend hours as well. They told me tonight that the Westwood Village Target does not have a pharmacy. I was shocked, I’ve never seen a Target without one but oh well. Any recommendations? I’ll be in the High Point area.
Box store pharmacies can be hit and miss in terms of timeliness of refills and long lines at peak times, but I tend to prefer them for the late hours and I know the medicine isn’t getting dusty on the shelves since they’re high traffic.

elikapekaParticipantIf you’re in High Point, your closest will be the Walgreens on 35th and Morgan. I’ve used them a couple of times and had no complaints.

celeste17ParticipantI think the rite aid in Westwood Village has a pharmacy. If not Safeway on Roxbury has one.

kootchmanMemberI use Rite Aid… they have an auto fill program… when they call you scrip’ is ready for pick-up. No lines, no waiting. They hold the scrip for 7 days I think….Open til 9 PM.

AimParticipantAnother vote for Rite Aid in Westwood Village. Not as close to you, but their customer service is excellent and they have a 15-minute guaranteed fill time on prescriptions you bring in. You can also order refills online.
My experience with Walgreen’s is not good. They’re understaffed and unorganized every time I’ve had to go in there. I witnessed two employees having a knock-down, drag out argument on the floor because one went on break and didn’t tell the other. It nearly came to blows. While “things happen,” it seems like they happen a lot more often at Walgreen’s. Or I’m just the lucky one who happens to walk in there every time something goes sideways.

kellymParticipantI’ve used to use Walgreens and switched to Rite-Aid in Westwood Village. both have had issues of calling a refill and then going to pharmacy and “they have to order it” . Why they ask for your phone number when you put in the refill for their convenience, ask when you want to pick up order and then don’t bother to let you know it won’t be ready at that time is beyond me. I’ve never used the Safeway at Roxbury pharm. Have just used Costco for the first time this month as they had slightly better price on some very expensive meds.
