miwsParticipantJim, I don’t have any particular recommendations, but do you know which fluid is leaking? Transmission? Radiator? Motor oil?
Although you’ll still likely get plenty of recos for general auto repair shops, some people might have some for shops that are more specific to your situation.

clark5080ParticipantShould have said it is water that is in the driver side I assume from the corner of the windshield but not sure

clark5080ParticipantI checked with glass places and they can fix the windshield but not anything else and body shops don’t seem to want to touch it.

Genesee HillParticipantClark,
I would think you may want to have the glass company check the seal on the windshield. That worked in one of my earlier incidents and was instantly fixed.
I was fortunate, in another case, that the car dealer was able to find a leak by pouring water on the front area of the car, and was able to pin point the leaking area. The latter, is something that you could try; pour a five gallon bucket of water on front-end areas of the car, and have a PATIENT, and perhaps SMALL person inside the car, looking for drips.
I understand the reluctance of body shops to address this, since it can get pricey in a hurry, with no resolution a distinct possibility. I got lucky, I guess.

jissyParticipantclark: Do you have a sunroof? I had a water leak out of the blue in my car last year, it came down the “pillars” the repairperson called them by the base of the front doors & out of the visor overhead (very annoying!!!!). It appeared the “sunroof drains” were plugged causing water to overflow/leak. Wasn’t a surprise to my dealer, happens now and again apparently. Wasn’t a cheap fix but an easy one.

clark5080ParticipantNope no sunroof

Genesee HillParticipantClark:
Then I would go with the most likely culprit first. Seal failure on windshield.
If your car is parked outside, instead of parking with the front headed in, back the car into the parking spot. Wind and rain usually hits out of the SSW. If you can expose a different side of your car to the weather, that may offer a clue.
Good luck!
