    Hello,

I am in need of a good, safe, clean dog boarding place here in the WS area. Please reply with info/details.

    Thanks WS Community!

Not sure if this SODO location (6.5 miles from N. Admiral) would be outside your travel parameters, but for the last 2 1/2 years we have used and been very satisfied with:

    Seattle Canine Club

    1548 First Avenue South

    Seattle, WA 98134

    (206) 957-9097

Should you choose to use them, Tell them that “The Whoodle” Sent you.

We use Wiggle Room in the Morgan Junction. Tracy and staff are fantastic with our dogs. I believe it’s $50/night for dogs, which is average for places we’ve used.

Not WS but we use bone-a-fide dog ranch in Snohomish. Kennel free 5 acres of fun! Our dogs love it there. If you can’t drive up there you can call the Seattle Pet Taxi. They will pick up your dogs and bring them home for a very reasonable rate.

I would contact Anthony at Left Coast Dogs. He boards a select few dogs at a time, daily walks, and is absolutely excellent–located in the Admiral District. He has been taking care of our dog, Brixton, since we moved to WS. Wonderful!

I highly recommend Michele Leise of Seattle’s Best Dog Walkers (http://www.seattlesbestdogwalkers.com/). (206) 697-6535.

Michele lives in West Seattle and does both dog walking, offleash park excursions, and dog boarding for a small number of dogs at her home (no kennels). She is with the dogs 24×7 and I have left my dog Roxy with her many times when we go on vacation and Roxy always comes back happy and tired from all the great activity she gets during the day. Michele truly takes amazing care and love of the animals in her charge!

I need to give my pitch for Super Fun Happy Dog. The owners, Robby and Tiffany are amazing people, their crew is amazing and their place is outstanding. They pick up and deliver, the dogs are never alone and are housed in a large heated “home” with couches and dog beds. The downside is they are usually always booked. http://www.superfunhappydog.com

After my dog being part of the pack at West Seattle Dog House Daycare for 5 years, I can’t say enough good stuff about them. It’s home based but my girl loves going there!

We also love Super Fun Happy Dog. Have used them for daycare and boarding, and they have taken very good care of our girl.

Muddy Paws Pet Sitting and Dog Walking. They come to your house and stay with your dogs overnight, so their routine isn’t disrupted. Especially great for multi-dog households, as they don’t charge per dog – just per night. Price depends on location, number of nights, etc. but I think we paid around $65 per night. http://www.campmuddypaws.com
