Hahahaha!! I saw that play and video of the scuffle in the Mariners dugout during last night’s game against the RedSox. Wakamatsu was in right in doing what he did. Seattle paid Chone the chump $36 million over 4 years to not hustle for a ball, on a play, that he’s routinely supposed to do in baseball? That’s backup your teammate on a play! The Mariners have always been an underperforming franchise if you ask me. 9 years and not a playoff! If that’s not underperforming, I don’t know what is. I haven’t been to a baseball game in maybe three years now. Not worth spending money on overpriced chew spitting tobacco donkeys.
