KenParticipantSince ballots are being mailed this week… it is time to spread this video around again.
As far as I know since no one has removed them from youtube, the copyrights must be in order. A few friends and I did the translation captioning. I don’t think the broadcast version is legal for TV though so I don’t link to it.

If your favorite language is not represented here, contact me and I will work on getting one done assuming you can supply a translation to that language. I get them vetted by real translators though so conservatives should resist the urge to play a joke. :)

JenVMembervery important to remember – your signature on your voter registration card MUST match the signature on your mail in ballot. My ballot was sent back for the last primary because the signatures didn’t match exactly.

c@lbobMemberJenV is right, it is important to provide your county auditor a sample of your signature that actually matches what you write. If you registered to vote in, say 1995, you may be amazed at how different your signature looks today, compared to the one of yesteryear.
If the county challenges the signature on your ballot envelope, they aren’t rejecting your ballot. Far from it, because there is an exacting procedure to keep track of every challenged ballot so that they may be quickly and efficiently placed back in the process of ballot counting once the signature challenge is lifted.
So, read that letter you get carefully and follow the instructions faithfully. Basically, you want to sign the voter’s oath on the back of the letter the way you signed the challenged ballot you mailed in. The oath on the letter isn’t where you produce your elementary school award winning penmanship. Remember what your situation was like when you signed the ballot envelope in the first place and match that signature. Make a copy of your picture id (WA driver license or ID card, passport, etc,) and fill out the yellow (in King County) voter registration form with the words AV ISSUES on the top. Sign the registration form like you will make a vow to yourself to do on ballot envelopes in the future.
Put the signed oath, copy of ID, and registation form in the envelope provided and mail it so it gets to the elections office by November 23. If you do, your ballot will be counted.
