Visitors staying locally with friends and their dog got out.
The dog is around 60 lb, a mixed breed with a brindle coat named Buddy. He is supposedly somewhat timid, so they advise using food to get the dog close, or with your own dog…Buddy likes his canine friends.

I saw this pooch yesterday at about 11:00 AM. Buddy had a collar on and was running South on California Avenue at high speed. It was very strange to see him running loose in this area. He ran right in front of us at California and Hinds and kept on running. I had to look up the term “brindle” because that’s a foreign term for me. Perhaps you might descibe it further as mottled dark brown and pumpkin color or something like that.
