timeslidParticipantYes, there is a program called tiny tigers and little dragons for ages 3 to 8 at Evergreen Tang soo do. The program continues on for older ages and family programs. Great family and supportive atmosphere.

Garden_nymphMemberMy daughter starting taking aikido at West Seattle Aikido when she was 6 years old. It is located next to Jones BBQ. It is taught by Pam Cooper and is the most amazing community you will ever be part of.

kaatParticipantSpecifically Karate, or martial arts in general? Seattle Wushu http://seattlewushucenter.com/ has a Mighty Mites class for 5-7 year olds. My son has been taking lessons with Sifu DeJesus for over 6 years now.

TKDguyParticipantYou might consider some of the kids martial arts programs at our local community centers in West Seattle. I know that both Delridge and Hiawatha Community Centers have martial arts (Hapkido I believe) for kids 4-7 years old for way way cheaper than these commercial martial arts schools.
I only teach adult tae kwon do classes at Hiawatha, but I have met the instructor for the kids Hapkido classes and heard great things about her. I am really surprised that many people miss out on these high quality but low expense programs right in your community.
