Was there a Wigwam store in the junction, back in the day, in the Sleeper’s store?

Yes, there was. If memory serves, it closed in 1974.

Before Wigwam, before my time (or too far back for me to remember—born Sep 1958), it was a Tradewell Grocery Store.

I don’t know about the Junction, but there was a Wigwam store in White Center at 9841 15th Ave SW. The building now houses North Mart furniture

waynster, yes, the old store where the new-ish 4730 Building now is was an A&P, and then Tradewell. After Tradewell closed down 30 or so years ago, it was a bingo hall for several years, then some kind of robotics place for a rather short time, and then Petco.
