My husband and I enjoyed a delicious dinner at Fresh Bistro on Tuesday evening. I ordered the Rosemary Scented Poussin and my husband ordered the Crusted Halibut. Both dinners were beautiful in presentation, portion size was perfect, and the flavor mouth watering. The best thing about this new addition to WS is that you get gourmet food in a chic yet casual atmosphere for a great price. Welcome to WS Fresh Bistro so glad you are here.

They are VERY friendly and the atmosphere is great. Now if they could just work on getting a few more gluten-free items on the menu…

Have you mentioned “Gluten free” to them? I suspect they’d be interested in your ideas — we’ve been there 4 times since they opened — lunch, linner, dinner, and brunch — and we’re going back Sunday. Food is great–service is spectacular (interested without hovering). If you miss Herban Feast’s little catering kitchen on Admiral, (Moved to First) you can get the crab cakes at Fresh Feast. WS is getting to be a foodie’s heaven.

I have to agree that Fresh Bistro is one of the best, if not THE best, new place to eat in West Seattle. (Spring Hill was also pretty great). We went to FB on a Sat. night and ended up doing the Happy Hour menu & drinks. Service was great and the food was excellent. Every item was creative, but very approachable and overall…tasty! The drinks were also delicious and rather strong for the $5 charge. We’re planning to go back and do entrees next time. Great job!

i got to brunch too late on Sunday for anything but dessert.. but the basil creme brule and the comments of those at our table are enough to convince me that we will be going back soon.

I have to comment that i was pleasantly surprised by the space.. it is open, airy and light… and still manages acoustics well enough that conversation was enjoyable. Since i got there too late for breakfast.. that was a good thing:)

Fresh Bistro quickly became one of my favorite restaurants. I’ve been many times since they opened. I especially love that although the menu is adventurous, they have never looked down on me for asking what something meant. Service and the food were consistently great.

I am disappointed, however, that they will no longer be offering the lunch menu on weekends in favor of the brunch menu. I’m glad they’re open on Sundays now, but my favorite menu of theirs is the lunch menu (both for content – things not offered at other meals – and for the lower cost). I did express that thought to my server, and did email them my feedback on both the good and the bad (the only bad being what I just said about the lunch menu), since it’ll frankly affect how often I’ll be back.
