    hmmm…Villa Heidelberg…45th and Edmunds

    The Wildwood B & B 45th SW and Barton…

    or… http://www.seattledestination.com/index.html

whatever you do, do not book the motel at 36th and Alaska…not exactly a comfy, plush place…

My parents stayed at Villa Heidelberg last September and loved it.

Thank you!! We’re being inundated with family this summer and I need to be prepared, but I don’t want them to have to drive too far. (I figured that about the place on Alaska…too bad it’s literally two blocks from our house!)

It’s posible that our family members will stay at the Seattle Destination place. Bumping to ask though: Is there anyone near Alaska Junction who might be out of town the last week of June and might be interested in renting their house for the week? It would be a lot more convenient if we were just a couple blocks from one another. We’re on 38th near Edmunds. Thanks.

I’ve heard through the Chamber about a new place, Faunterloy Cottage or Cottages I believe… don’t have the info. right off hand though. Also, Ivy Court View Apts at Morgan has a unit they will rent short term, it’s hit or miss for availability though. Their # is 206-932-0355.

I know the owners of the Fauntleroy cottage quite well. You will be well taken care of there!

Last time we were going to have an overcrowded home (Heck we have no family in Seattle!) we used the tudor style place. it was nearly a year ago, but worked out well. good luck!

At one time I owned the house to the left of the “Keith Cottage”, good neighborhood, 47th between Dakota and Andover. Cottage would certainly describe the place, there was a garage in the back, I don’t know if off street parking there is part of the package.

Hi, all. Thank you so much for all the suggestions. My sister went ahead and made reservations, so it looks like the house-renting is off the table. THANK YOU, though, for your interest! I wouldn’t be opposed to it in the future.
