KenParticipantGet active this weekend!
Highpoint neighborhood
Voter registration drive
Saturday June 28th at Noon
3019 SW Graham street
(corner of 30th and SW Graham,
not the empty space google maps points to)

Original notice on the highpoint neighborhood site:
http://www.highpointneighborhood.org/2008/06/05/high-point-voter-registration-drive/
Interested residents and volunteers from all over West Seattle will be gathering to make sure everyone in the new buildings in the Highpoint neighborhood are registered to vote. Both market rate and subsidised residents will be contacted.
I am also trying to verify a couple hundred suspect voter registrations that seem to point to addresses that no longer exist. Many streets were changed, renamed or removed entirely. (see google map sat view)
Questions?

JoBParticipantlet me know what i can do to help besides showing up…
has anyone considered making sure the paperwork for voting by mail is also available along with voter registration. For some people that can make all the difference.

who knew?
i sure missed it when i registered…

charlabobParticipantAre we distributing information about ID required for voting at the same time? Not an issue for mail-ins, but it’s a good habit :-)

KenParticipantThis is a pdf of the actual form. It looks just like the pack of 200 I picked up last month.
Looks like all the info is on it though some will not read or remember the id requirements.
The top two primary will make the ballots so confusing that it will bewilder many long time voters, but that was the goal of the initiative anyway.

Also note absentee ballots do not have the same ID requirements since the address and signature on the outside envelope are the substitution.

KenParticipantMore generic voting onfo:
You can switch to vote by mail as long as everything rlse is correct, by downloading and filling out this form and mailing it in.

You can verify your registration at this web page. Never assume anything that is correct will stay that way.

KenParticipantUpdated reminder on the highpointneighborhood.org
site. Note there is a houseparty at 11 am and the link to still join in seems to be in this post on the highpointneighborhood.org site.
