    I second that thought. I have only been reading for a couple of months but feel that you are providing a great service to the community with the blog and all that you cover. Go have a great meal and get yourself something special to wear (Funky Janes)!!!!

    I have talked to sooooo many people in West Seattle who simply refer to you all as “the blog.” You just rule. :-)

    Yup, all you have to say is “I found you on or read about you on or … the blog.” I’ve never been asked “What blog?” Given the number there are, that’s pretty damned impressive.

    Re: the garage sale, we meant Garage Sale Day … we can’t have one ourselves cause we’ll be out covering everybody else’s sale for in-progress updates!!!!

    Spending the anniversary continuing to stuff participant mail-out packets while Patrick papers the town with WSCGSD posters :) — if you work outside WS please consider tacking a flyer to the bulletin board or something (we linked a PDF of it to this morning’s post) … we are hoping to draw people to WS from outside the area to shop everybody’s fab garage sales on May 10! — TR
