LoriZMemberThe families of Eastridge Christian Assembly would like to bless families who need a little extra help for Thanksgiving. We are giving away 1,000 turkeys (500 in Issaquah & 500 in West Seattle) on Saturday, November 22nd from 9:00am until Noon. There is nothing to fill out, no questions will be asked and we’ll even carry the turkey to your car for you! Questions? e-mail Lori at LZwick@ecaonline.org or call at 425-392-3253. The two locations are 24105 SE Issaquah Fall City Rd, Issaquah 98029 and 4500 39th Ave SW, Seattle 98116
Happy Thanksgiving from our families to yours!!

beachdrivegirlParticipantThis is really great to hear! I am glad to see people in our community reaching out to the less fortunate Lori. :)

AnonymousInactiveUpdate: I spoke with Lori and she informed me that volunteers are usually not a problem, they always have more than they need.
She did say that if you want to do something, you can always drop off a turkey or bag of groceries. It’s always appreciated!

WSBKeymasterbumping because somebody else just posted this, apparently not aware it had already been posted (I am deleting the duplicate post). It’s in our events calendar, holiday calendar, and there will be a home-page reminder when it’s closer, as well.

JoBParticipantso they do distribute groceries as well?

AnonymousInactiveThis is the email reply I received after I contacted Lori regarding volunteering:
“Thank you for your offer, we usually have more than we can use as far as help goes. If you would like to get a turkey and bag of groceries you are welcome to!” – Lori
I believe, besides turkeys, they also provide other groceries items. Therefore, any groceries you would like to donate are welcome.

JanSParticipantand I think that they probably try to give families the rest of the meal’s “fixins” so it’s a complete meal…nice that they’re doing this…
thanks for checking, NR
