Walked by the Ducky Reserve today, and checked out the Ducky Tower of Terror. As expected, it was awesomely ducky! (Or is that duckily awesome? ;-) )

Anyhoo, I was wearing my Vampire Ducky shirt that I won on the Duckwalk a few weeks ago, and about the point I was entering the Lincoln Park Beach Trail, a nice young lady jogger passing by me from behind, asked if I “lived down on the corner”. Now, admittedly, the thought crossed my mind to puff out my chest, (not that it would be noticed with my already puffed out belly!) and to hithch-n-sniff ala Barney Fife, and boast “Yeaahhhh”, but it’s not Ducky to lie, so as she slowed her pace, I picked mine up a bit, and so as not to mess up her running stride too much, tried to be concise in explaining to her about the Duckwalk, and how I’d won the shirt.

When I stopped at the Reserve, I grabbed a few of Duckitude’s business cards, as I often find I’m telling people about it, and expect to be doing so more often, now that I have the shirt. So, I asked her if she had a card yet, she replied “No”, so was getting ready to offer one up, but she mentioned she didn’t have any pockets. She *did* say however, that passing by the Reserve, always gives her a smile! :-)

So, Duckitude, even though I can’t claim to be you, the shirt is making me a hit with the chicks! ;-)
