charlabobParticipantYou are kidding, right JoB — “one of those candidates?” Darcy Burner is one of the brightest starts in the Democratic party. Since Jim is a shoe(shoo?) in, I spent most of my political time working for her. (As always, she’s a bit to the right of where I’d like us to be, but, compared with Reichert?????)
We haven’t even begun to “discuss” the local and state elections, but this is an important one for all of us. It’s a district we should be able to take, and Darcy is not a blue dog. :-)
Thanks for the opportunity of this non-west non-paid commercial! :-) Like I needed an excuse.

JoBParticipantcharla…
i hoped people would read her website and her ideas would speak for themselves..
i thought the plan to end the war was a lot more than a start in the right direction.
and yes, i think she is well worth supporting… even though she is more to the right than i would hope for.
i am beginning to think anyone significantly younger than me.. and running for office… is farther to the right than i would wish…
Of course, i am a dinosaur… I never thought communism was such a bad idea.. just too easy to abuse in practice.. as practice has proven :)
no wonder most are to the right of me ;->

JanSParticipanther opponent is..well, pretty much in there with the current White House. I heard him speak about the Green River murders when he was sheriff, and I think people remember that when it comes to voting. Yes, he’s not far right, but people really need to take a look at his voting record…and what Darcy has to say. A shame I can’t vote for her…

ZenguyParticipantJoB…you do remember you live in Seattle??? We are pretty much to the left of Jesse Jackson Sr.

JanSParticipantyes…not doing the troops any favors.
The cynic in me questions the timing, being that there’s an election in November….

JoBParticipantthe cynic in me questions where they plan to place those troops next
troop withdrawals are not enough to win an election
war is

JanSParticipantwith the recent activity and deaths of US Troops in Afghanistan, I’m pretty sure that will be where these troops will go..not a withdrawal, just a transfer…..and the beat goes on….

WSMomParticipantHere’s where I’m afraid the US troops will go next…
